My Year of Love & Joy!!!

I've been starting on the process of evaluating what I want to work on, experience, have, be and create for this coming year and through most of 2011. In the process I've been emailing a beloved friend bouncing off ideas, desires, projects and more off of him.

In the process of our chats, emails and texts he has helped me refine both the process and my goals. Because its so ripe with good self-development stuff, I've decided to share it with the world and put it all down here. It may not help or even mean anything to you, but to me it means the world now that I've discovered the music to dance my life to. I don't ever want to lose it so I'm posting it here. You can find it after the jump...

This is the transcript that I pulled my morning process from…
Now that I am in the habit of doing it every day, I may move this off, as I don't need to remind myself regularly. And now that I've taught it to another, it has become very permanent in my mind - thanks to you.

this one's worth repeating on this list ....

Go to bed tonight and set forth the intention to slumber into your alignment with Source, which you always do. And then set forth the intention that when you awaken in the morning that you'll just slide back into this physical body in an attitude of appreciation. And in fact before you sleep, go through a list of things that are very easy for you to appreciate so you set the tone of the environment into which you will re-emerge in the morning.

And then when you awaken in the morning, lie in your bed and move through your mind this list of things that you are appreciating. And then go right from there to brushing your teeth and doing whatever you need to do immediately. And then go right to your chair of meditation and bring yourself again into vibrational alignment with wellbeing. Only this time, you're not doing it because you are asleep --you're wide awake. And you are tuning yourself to the vibration of Who You Are. Then get up from your meditation chair and go right to the kitchen, and find something that is delicious and refreshing to eat. And as you are eating it, sit with an attitude of appreciation.

And once you've finished eating your delicious meal, whatever it might be, then sit with your paper and pen and make a list of things that you appreciate. Just write the things that flow forth from you easily. Don't make it a list of things you SHOULD appreciate --the things that you do appreciate.

And this process will put you in the vibrational attitude of alignment with Source. And if you will do that tomorrow and the next day, and the next day, and the next day, and the next day, and the next day, and the next day, and the next day, before you know it, and certainly within 30 days, you will have set the tone of seeing the world through the eyes of Source in a way that you have never done before. [Powerfully] And then you will not be asking us what it's like to be pure, positive energy, because you'll know it VISCERALLY. You'll feel it in EVERY FIBER OF YOUR BEING.

You are doing well. Allow me to offer a couple of adjustments.

Each evening, write a short list of things you would like to accomplish the following morning. This is the planning for your next day. After you have written this list, The Universe will begin working on it and you can rest easy knowing you have pre-paved the day. Keep each item content short and simple. Almost like bullet points.

Each morning, write a list of the things you appreciate or love. Wait until you have felt the love for the topic before you write the line. Keep each topic short and simple. Few details or qualifiers. The Universe knows what you mean, you are merely bringing them into focus in your mind for a moment.

Writing each list should take less than 5 minutes.

As for the things you say each morning and evening, those are good things - I do the same. Reading them off a page, however, does not engage your creative mind as much as when you poll yourself and engage your thinking. The difference is where the energy came from: outside of you or inside of you. Reading a list you previously wrote causes a reaction to an earlier creation. Writing a list is a creation that causes an emotion. See the difference? I do not copy from the previous day's lists. I have a blank page and cover the facing page if I can see. If nothing comes to mind, I sit peacefully and wait. It only takes moments.

What I have offered here is a map for future choices by you. As always, this is a process. You will use the tools and processes that serve you well for now. Just as I used the "goals" page because I wasn't comfortable with the word 'love', I have transitioned to a "loves" page. And as I record those loves, I spend a moment enjoying loving each before I write it down.

(I just realized that I used the phrase "record those loves". That is a key term that I never realized. I am not writing down what I love. I am recording the emotion I feel when I ask "What do I love?" Hmmm. In teaching, I have learned. Wonderful lessons and blessings. Thank You.)

:)

I don't make the list twice daily, although now that you mention it, copying them over would be a wonderful way for me to cement them and internalize them and to see what I've lovingly kept my word to myself on and also as a gentle loving reminder of what I yet need to do to help fulfill my year of JOY! as I go en route to living my life of JOY!.

My ablutions are twice daily, I admire and review my list of affirmations and now also my list of LOVES twice daily. In the morning as I wash up, brush my teeth, put on moisturizer, apply my eyebrow pencil, etc.(my ablutions). And in the evening as I do the same, with a focus on looking into my eyes and smiling. Your going to love this... I also have a copy of my affirmations taped at eye level by the toilet so I can focus on one affirmation while "I'm busy". Heh! Now I always come out of the bathroom smiling!

Joy is the purpose of being a being here. :)

Also, some lists are made once, some more often, and two each day. Tell me the reason for the two you make each day - and when you make them. please. :)

I forwarded to myself my modified “Love list” and the wonderful sentences you helped refine so I can type them up and put them in 3 places - my bathroom mirror, (because its the first and last place I look at myself as I go through my ablutions (there's a 1.00 word for you!).

I was reworking them when my system did something to itself & rebooted as a result of some major bldg power surges etc. I was perplexed! anyhow, I went back in they are gone and instead of getting frustrated I remembered ... use this as an opportunity for creative inspiration and growth...

And so I started my list all over again, asking myself the question you instructed me to ask, my dear sweet Master Sensei. And so in asking myself: "What do I want to see happen in my life by January 19th, 2011? What do I want to experience by this time next year? What will I have ultimately accomplished a year from now from doing loving work in my life?" I realize what I basically want is to live in, experience, and be in a state of JOY!!!!! Woohoo!

So in a way it was a good thing that I lost my docs, because I could get to from the doings to get strait the underlying aim of being - that of being in a state of JOY!!!!!!

That's what I want, JOY! Yep, joy.... Joy... JOY! Ahhhh!

Okay, carryon... in joy :)
